On behalf of the MME Professional Development Committee, I would like to thank all of you that were able to attend the 2021 Summer Workshop cohosted by Rochester
and Auburn Hills. Many thanks to those host cities for their hospitality, for the highly informative sessions they conducted, and for the great weather they provided.
Last, but not least, a special thank you to all of our vendors that help make these conferences happen.
The PDC is busy at work developing plans for our next conference to be held in Troy this January 25th through the 28th. Registration, session topics, and all manner of conference information will be available later this year. Please be sure to keep an eye on your inbox as you will not want to miss the high-level training that MME has planned this year.
Speaking of high-level training, the PDC is developing a survey that will ask the membership preferred topics of interest and delivery methods for professional development opportunities. This will likely be delivered in single-day sessions either in person or remote. These offerings will take place twice per year in the spring and fall. We hope to record these sessions and have them available to members on the MME website (mme.org). Look out for this survey in the near future.
