Warren Rothe | Professional Development Committee Chair
The Michigan Municipal Executives Professional Development Committee is actively planning for our upcoming Winter Institute, scheduled to take place in Bay City, January 28–31, 2025. This year, the committee has chosen “relationships” as the conference theme, with a focus on strengthening council-manager and manager-staff relations. We are curating content to provide valuable insights, practical tools, and strategies to help build and maintain effective, collaborative relationships within municipalities. Stay tuned for further details on sessions and speakers as we prepare for a productive and inspiring Institute in the new year!
The success of our conferences relies heavily on the active participation and engagement of our members, and we are confident that the Winter Institute will be no exception. Your ongoing support and enthusiasm are the driving forces behind our efforts to provide high-quality professional development opportunities for municipal executives across Michigan.
We will be sharing more details about the Winter Institute in the coming months, including information on speakers, sessions, and registration. Be sure to mark your calendars and save the date for what promises to be another exceptional event!
