The Professional Development Committee (PDC) is excited to get to work on conference planning for Summer Institute 2023 (Frankenmuth), and Winter Institute 2024, which will be held in Lansing. We are eager to have additional support from The Nonprofit Spot to assist with the many logistics of conference planning.
I am humbled to serve as the chair of the PDC for this term. My first experience with MME was the 2017 Winter Institute while I was still a student at Michigan State University. Ever since, I have always found conferences incredibly refreshing as they allow us to come together as a profession and build both knowledge and relationships. I especially enjoyed reconnecting with friends at the Winter Institute in Grand Rapids. If you were unable to attend, the presentations can be accessed here: https://www.mme.org/2023-mme-winter-institute/
It is not too late to join the PDC. If anyone wishes to serve, or has suggestions for content or formatting, please do not hesitate to reach out to the PDC. Many hands make light work, and we are more ready for anything, when we work together.
