By Adam Smith
The MME Advocacy Committee has created and released its first edition of our MME electronic “rack card” to be used for the public promotion of our organization and the Council-Manager form of government. We hope that you will find it to be a practical document for use in your discussions with schools, universities, at career and job fairs, with alternative career professionals, career counselors, your municipal interns and job shadowers. The electronic card is readily available on our website and printable (5×7) to meet your individual public outreach initiative needs. The back of the card has been intentionally left blank to incorporate customizable event design accordingly.
The intent of the high-impact graphic designed card is to quite simply drive the recipients to our MME website, along with MML and ICMA websites, in an effort to ensure they are aware of, and have access to, all the knowledge available therein. The infographics, quick response codes, Twitter, and Facebook components attempt to connect with millennials, Gen Xers and baby boomers alike.
